Saints to Serve Up Hearty Meal at St Kilda Burger Bar

Tuesday, May 15, 2018 — Manning the grill and delivering service with a smile, beloved Saints from St Kilda Football Club will be popping up at local favourite St Kilda Burger Bar (STKBB), in a team effort with the venue to encourage punters to Dine with Heart.

On Tuesday, 22 May from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, the event will see a team play-off with Saints players competing to see who can raise the most tips to be donated to Sacred Heart Mission, to add to the $2 donated by STKBB with every Dine with Heart Burger sold.

Available at STKBB throughout the month of May, the Dine with Heart burger is filled with a 100 percent certified grass-fed Angus beef patty, Egmont cheese, pickles, fried onions and chunky house-made ketchup.

Aiming to raise $150,000 this year, Dine with Heart is a food-themed fundraising campaign to support Sacred Heart Mission’s Meals Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch to approximately 400 people experiencing homelessness, social isolation and disadvantage every day of the year.

Fans of all ages will have a chance to cheer on their favourite players and indulge in delicious burgers, helping Sacred Heart Mission to meet their final target. Charity has never tasted so good.
